Our Story

Hi, my name is Pip and I started Pip & Pop back in 2018. A number of my friends were having babies and didn’t want to find out the gender. I found it really hard to buy anything cool / exciting that wasn’t either grey, white or parmesan yellow…!

At a similar time I remember being really frustrated after a visit to a children’s clothing store with my beautiful niece, who decided she wanted a blue shark T-shirt with flowery shorts [go you Betsy Boo I also thought it looked coo!]. We get to the checkout and shop assistant said to me, “You do know that’s a boy’s top?”

It was in that very moment I was inspired to create Pip & Pop and have a brand that just made cool clothes for children to wear. A brand that lets their creativity run wild and where gender is irrelevant to the Cardigan or T-shirt or Trousers they choose to put on and shine in every day.

So, Betsy Boo this is for you and all the other lovely children who want to wear fun cool clothes and for people who are buying for children and want something a little bit different.
